Join a day-long program exploring Irish and Irish-American genealogy, literature, language, history, and science.

Participants include:

  • William Kennedy, Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist (Ironweed)
  • Alice McDermott, National Book Award-winning novelist (Charming Billy)
  • John Patrick Shanley, Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and director (Doubt); Academy Award-winning screenwriter
  • Professor Dan Bradley of Trinity College Dublin, foremost scientist in discovering Irish genetic history; established Professor Henry Louis Gates’s Irish genes for PBS’ African-American Lives documentary series
  • Brian Donovan, Dublin-based heritage research specialist; CEO of Eneclann
  • Niall Burgess, Consul General of Ireland in New York
  • Loretta Brennan Glucksman, Chair of Glucksman Ireland House Advisory Board
